This weekend was pretty good.  Friday I left work an hour early and went to my massage.  I needed one so badly after sleeping in that crappy bed in Madison.  I ached all week from it.  So I went and splurged.  I had an hour long deep tissue massage.  I love Kayde (the massage therapist).  She knows just exactly what I need (by touch) and she never failed to ‘fix me’.  She also keeps me in stitches while she is working on me.  So after my relaxing massage, I went home, showered off all that greasy oil and lounged in the recliner until 9:20 when Brian got home and treated me to Lone Star.  It was very good!

Saturday was fairly uneventful.  It was just too dang hot to do anything constructive.  I got some laundry done and we went to Menards to price out our bathroom.  Grand total for materials:  $549.  Not too bad.  Saturday I went and got my hair highlighted and about 4 inches cut off.  I really like it.  Much easier to do now!  Even Brian said it was cute J

Sunday was my cleaning the house day.  I got almost all of it finished except the downstairs bathroom and vacuuming the kitchen.  I am very proud of myself!  Then last night, Nikki cooked us dinner and we played euchre with her and Michelle.  It was a fun evening!  The food was yummy!  Michelle’s fake trump was too funny!  

Then as we were leaving Nikki’s, the sky was lighting up with beautiful lightning.  About 12:00 the storm rolled in and it was pretty nasty.  We lost power for a little bit.  And our satellite signal was gone too.  I just dozed off when Brian’s cell phone rings at 2:30.  Stupid work.  Then I doze off again and the kitties decide it is time to play hide and seek in the bedroom under the comforter and bed.  I wanted to strangle them.  I finally kicked Hoover out of the bedroom.  Poor little guy had to sleep in the living room.  I literally had about 1.5 hours of sleep last night.  I am going to be one tired puppy tonight!

Looking forward to Kansas City this weekend.  Brian and I are going down on Friday night.  Kristine and Todd are coming Saturday afternoon.  We are going to eat at Gates BBQ and Kristine and I are heading off to the Duran Duran concert.  We think the boys will go to the casino or maybe a sports bar.  I am looking forward to it J

This week is going to be hectic but fun.  We have a lot planned!  Dinner with a client tomorrow night and then bowling.  Wednesday the Shrews are at the Funnybone.  I cant wait to see them.  They make my cry.  Friday – Sunday is KC.
